Step 1: Listing Presentation

Your dedicated agent will then work with our marketing specialist to start marketing your home. We’ll spread the word about your home, while creating excitement and urgency from qualified buyers.


Step 3: Showings

We’ll handle the communication with agents who want to show your property. You’ll receive notifications of booked showings, feedback from those showings, and updates on the market in your area. We’ll also keep an eye out for patterns in the market and feedback from your showings.


Step 4: Negotiate Contract

Once you receive an offer on your property, there are 3 primary details to address: Price, terms, and timeline. We will help you negotiate all 3—and fight to get the best possible result for you.


Step 5: Contract to close

The buyer will get their money lined up and order their appraisal and inspections. Our dedicated transaction coordinator will be keeping you in the loop, so you’ll know exactly what’s happening. If any issues arise, we’ll be right there to help.


Step 6: Closing

The title company will close the sale of your property. Then we’ll schedule a time to meet and sign the documents that transfer ownership to the buyer.

How does List Birmingham's flat fee model work?
Traditionally when a listing sells, the seller pays a 6% commission based on the value of the home. The 6% commission would be split, 3% to the buyer’s agent and 3% to the seller’s agent. At List, we believe the payment we receive to sell your home shouldn’t be tied to the value of your home. It should be tied to the service we provide you. That’s why we have a tiered pricing structure starting at $5,000. We believe you should have a choice in which service plan best suits your unique needs. Our pricing is based on tiered service plans. Sellers will be responsible for paying the buyer’s agent in addition to our low flat fee.
How much money does that average person save when they list with List Birmingham?
List Birmingham saves our clients an average of $10,000+ when they list their home with us. You can choose any of the three listing packages, regardless of the value of your home.
How much are List Birmingham's Flat Fee Listing Packages?
List has 3 tiers: $5,000, $7,500 and $10,000. Each of these packages includes additional marketing and promotional materials that will help your home sell faster and easier than using a traditional brokerage.
Will I have to pay a commission fee to the List Birmingham agent that lists my home?
